The
California Department of Fish and Game (DFG) is now accepting
applications for the Fish and Game Warden Cadet examination.
Fish and Game Wardens are full peace officers with statewide
authority who have the primary duties of enforcing the Fish
and Game Code and the orders, rules, and regulations of the
Fish and Game Commission.
Requirements
for exam: 60 semester units of college, 18 of which must be
in biological sciences, police science or law enforcement,
natural resources conservation, ecology, or related field
AND a valid driver license. For a complete description of

Final
filing date: Applications must be postmarked no later than
February 8, 2002.
How
to apply: YOU MUST include a State of California Application
(Form 678) which can be downloaded from the State Personnel
Board website at www.spb.ca.gov
or can be picked up from any DFG or California Employment
Development Department (EDD) office. Mail the application
to: Department of Fish & Game, Attention: Exam Unit, P.O.
Box 944209, Sacramento, CA 94244-2090.
