Environmental Specialist
Northern California

We are seeking an Environmental Specialist to support the environmental needs of a company engaged in the exciting and evolving power industry in Northern California.

The right candidate will have the following capabilities: 1. Past experience writing business plans for hazardous materials in CA; 2. Hazardous materials and waste management internal policy development & writing experience; 3. Spill prevention, control and counter measure plans and oil spill contingency plans; 4. Experience coordinating the disposal of waste, both hazardous and non-hazardous (i.e., recycling oil, etc).

In addition to the technical skills and experience, we are looking for someone who is self-motivated, can work with little or no supervision, and works effectively as a member of a high performance team.
