We are looking for two talented Environmental Engineers to join our Corpus Christi refinery.

Environmental Engineer I
Successful candidates must possess a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. A minimum of 0-5 years experience in a refinery, petrochemical, or chemical plant & advanced PC skills are a must. This position interacts with the production areas of the plant to identify & implement applicable environmental requirements in the areas of air, water & waste. The ability to monitor the operating parameters to verify compliance is critical. Providing training to production operators on environmental systems & tools is also essential. Another key component to the position is the ability to assist with environmental project implementations as they pertain to specific production areas.

Environmental Engineer II
This position has a primary focus in the hazardous/non-hazardous waste area. B.S. Engineering degree is required, but a B.S. in Chemical Engineering is preferred. Providing regulatory support & review to waste coordinator for <90 day storage issues is critical. Candidates must be able to identify & implement waste reduction & pollution prevention measures. The ability to successfully direct investigations & corrective action around inactive solid waste management units is essential. 3-10 years direct experience dealing with waste management issues related to <90 day generators is a must. Successful candidates will possess a strong understanding of SWMU closure processes, and direct experience in a Texas refinery or chemical plant is a strong plus.
