Senior Environmental Planner
Berger's Washington, DC office seeks a senior environmental planner with experience in planning studies, site selection analyses, environmental compliance studies, environmental impact assessment under NEPA, and related natural resources management studies. Ÿ Desired candidate will have broad experience conducting facility related technical environmental planning and compliance studies for federal and local government agencies. Ÿ Position requires senior project management of a highly motivated team and a strong history of client management responsibility. A strong history of project management and client development is required. Ÿ Candidate must have experience conducting/leading public meetings and related outreach. Ÿ Candidates with transportation planning experience are also desired Ÿ Candidate should possess an advanced degree in planning plus 8 years of private sector experience. AICP certification is preferred. Experience using geographic information systems preferred. Excellent computer skills, technical skills and verbal communication skills required.
