Architect
Boise, Idaho
We
are seeking a landscape architect for an entry to mid-level position
in the Environmental Group at Power Engineers in our Boise office.
We specialize in environmental assessments and site planning for
large and small utility projects such as electric transmission
lines, fiber optic lines, power generation facilities and gas
pipelines. We also conduct route analyses and environmental assessments
for roadway transportation projects. The successful candidate
must have an interest in visual analysis and demonstrate skills
in environmental planning, technical writing, design, and graphics.
Knowledge and demonstrated interest in NEPA, large-scale planning,
wetland mitigation design and photo simulations a plus. Candidates
must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in landscape architecture;
professional experience and advanced degree a plus. Salary commensurate

Wildlife
Biologist

Applicants must have a minimum of eight years of professional
experience and be proficient with NEPA, Section 7, and other environmental
regulations. Other required skills include: advanced technical
writing skills; technical expertise in wildlife data collection
and field studies; demonstrated proficiency in MS Office software
(esp. Word and Excel); and data analysis software. Must have desire
and ability to work well in a team environment and to multi-task
effectively. Must have excellent communication skills and experience
in working with various federal and state agencies. Prior experience
working for or with consulting groups on utility projects such
as gas pipelines, transmission lines, hydroelectric, generation
plants, etc. a major plus. B.S. required in wildlife, M.S. preferred.
