Natural Resources Technical Director
San Francisco, CA

Duties include development of new client relationships, responding to business development opportunities, serving as senior project manager/project director in the preparation of high-quality natural resource management documents, interfacing extensively with clients, managing the San Francisco natural resources group, and recruiting new staff. Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree (required) or a master's degree (preferred) in environmental science, or a related field; have 15 or more years of related experience; have a strong track record with resource agencies (including the Army Corps of Engineers, US Fish and Wildlife Service, California Department of Fish and Game, and the Regional Water Quality Control Board); have experience in wetland permitting and restoration, California habitats, Section 7 and Section 10 consultations, and be knowledgeable about CEQA and NEPA. Candidates must have excellent leadership skills, including ability to identify and frame client needs; management and organizational capabilities; proven communication and people skills; vision; ability to control financial, administrative, and scheduling issues profitably and effectively; and a desire for a collaborative and creative work environment.
