Support Specialist V - The New Hampshire Department of
Environmental Services, Information Resources Management Unit. Experience
with administrating various Microsoft technologies (Windows NT.
Server, Exchange Server 5.5, Internet Information Server 4.0, and
Remote Access Server) in a TCP/IP-only environment Familiarity with
high-end LAN switch configuration/monitoring (Cabletron Smartswitch
6000 preferred) Knowledge of Firewall configuration (Raptor Firewall
preferred) Knowledge of VPN for mobile users and remote office connectivity
(Citrix Metaframe on Windows NT Terminal server 4.0). This position
requires proficiency in troubleshooting and project management.
The ideal candidate will be a proven self-starter, have excellent
communication skills and work well in ateam-oriented environment.
Minimum qualifications include Bachelor's degree with a major study
in mathematics, computer science, business administration, or a
related degree field with at least fifteen (15) credit hours in
the field of computer science and six years' experience with network
administration and maintenance, which includes hardware, software
and operating systems. Education and experience may be interchanged
as appropriate. The salary range for this position is $42,159.00

Waste
Management Specialist III
- The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services, Waste
Management Division. Experience in the review of highly complex
hydrogeological studies and engineering plans relating to the operation
of solid waste facilities and the closure of unlined landfills throughout
the State. The successful candidate will also be responsible for
regulatory compliance and enforcement functions relating to solid
waste, and for providing technical assistance to municipalities,
individuals and private concerns. This position requires an individual
with experience in enforcement procedures, hydrology, the interpretation/analysis
of engineering documents, knowledge of state and federal solid waste
rules and the landfill closure process, and strong communication
skills. Minimum qualifications include possession of a Bachelor's
degree with a major study in chemical, civil or sanitary engineering,
forestry, soil science, hydrology, microbiology, geophysical science
or other related scientific field and five years' experience required
in hazardous waste management, environmental monitoring, hazardous
materials handling or related scientific field OR five years' experience
in solid waste environmental monitoring or testing, hydrogeology,
waste treatment systems or other related science field. Each additional
year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year
of required work experience. In addition, must be able to pass a
stringent baseline physical and a structured oral interview. The
salary range for this position is $33,832.50 - $40,365.00. For further
