Serve as the outreach coordinator for the Division of Wildlife Management and have statewide responsibilities for planning and coordinating division public information programs. The employee will be responsible for marketing division programs assembling and composing organizations throughout North Carolina. He/she will have sole responsibility for promoting the new cooperative upland habitat restoration and enhancement program, a new private lands initiative. The outreach coordinator will assist in the designing and conducting market Surveys to identify constituent needs and evaluate effectiveness of division programs. He/she will assist in preparation of written reports and oral presentations of results of marketing efforts. He/she will develop and maintain partnerships among public and private groups for enhancement of all division programs and maintain a computer database of all contacts and program participants. The outreach coordinator will Assist in promoting youth hunting events, including coordination with other public and private organizations. Develop informational Brochures, displays, and exhibits explaining division programs.
