qualifications T15. Position Purpose: These positions protect South
Dakota's surface water quality by implementing state permitting
activities such as modeling water quality to develop total maximum
daily loads; writing water quality permits; conducting engineering
reviews of permit applications, existing water quality data, and
plans and specifications submitted by other engineers; conducting
engineering evaluations of treatment technologies to determine adequacy
of technologies to meet proposed permit requirements; conducting
inspections to ensure permitted facilities are constructed in accordance
with engineering plans and specifications and operated in compliance
with permit conditions; conducting complaint inspections to determine
if complaints are valid, and recommending corrective actions where
necessary to protect the state's natural resources. See South

Salary: $11.17 per hour N14. Position Purpose: This position will
be responsible for investigations and processing of reimbursement
claims related to petroleum release sites. Responsibilities include
performing on-site investigations to document site conditions and
history; reviewing and validating claims including contractor and
environmental consultant invoices; reviewing reports and other documents
to substantiate applications, pay requests and invoices; maintaining
computer databases; and working with staff engineers in reviewing
and making recommendations on claims. Comments: This position is
located in Pierre but is responsible for investigating claims related
to petroleum releases in western South Dakota including the Black
Hills region. Substantial travel will be involved. Closing Date:
