Location: Enforcement Section III, Enforcement Close Date: Open
Until Filled. Job Description: Performs entry level work involving
compliance monitoring for National Pollutant Discharge Elimination
Systems (NPDES), Texas Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (TPDES),
and Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission (TNRCC) wastewater
permits in the Enforcement Division. Conducts document reviews and
evaluations to determine compliance with state and federal wastewater
regulations. Initiates informal or formal enforcement action for
violations and deficiencies identified, coordinating actions with
enforcement and field operations staff. Maintains facility records
and self-reported and enforcement data on EPA and TNRCC enforcement
databases. Performs quality control of data entered into databases
and calculations to ensure accuracy. Provides technical assistance
to the regulated community, the public, and other TNRCC staff regarding
wastewater reporting requirements, enforcement status, and other
program activities. Reviews permits and coordinates permit coding
with the Permits Division to ensure compliance with state and federal
wastewater regulations. Reviews documentation for assigned permits
to confirm compliance with program requirements. Provides technical
assistance for the preparation of EPA reports, including the Quarterly
Noncompliance Report (QNCR) and the Report for Enforcement and Compliance
Assurance Priorities (RECAP). Submit a standard State of Texas application
